What does Tesla Certified Installer mean?

Tesla Certified Installers have completed rigorous training and quality assessments by Tesla Energy. We maintain ongoing education on Tesla products and installation standards, ensuring every installation meets Tesla's exacting requirements. Certification gives you direct access to Tesla's support network.

Can only certified installers install Tesla products?

Tesla Solar Roof installations require Tesla certification due to the complexity of integrated roofing and solar systems. Standard solar panels can be installed by licensed electricians, but Tesla Powerwall requires certified installation. Certified installers provide superior warranty support and system optimization.

How long has your team been Tesla certified?

We achieved Tesla certification over 5 years ago and have completed more than 20 installations throughout the Indianapolis and Indiana area. Our team continuously undergoes Tesla training updates to maintain certification and expertise on new products.

Do Tesla systems work better with certified installation?

Yes. Certified installers understand Tesla system architecture deeply, optimize placement for maximum efficiency, properly configure monitoring systems, and ensure seamless integration with grid and utility requirements. Certification is built around delivering superior performance.

What warranty do Tesla products carry?

Tesla solar products carry a 25-year performance warranty. Powerwall batteries come with a 10-year warranty covering degradation. As certified installers, we can process warranty claims directly with Tesla, ensuring fast resolution for any issues.

Can I combine different solar products (Tesla + non-Tesla)?

While possible, we strongly recommend staying within the Tesla ecosystem for maximum compatibility, monitoring integration, and warranty support. Tesla systems are specifically designed to work seamlessly together. We can discuss hybrid approaches during your consultation.

What Our Customers Say

Lindsey S.

“I’ve been really impressed with SPG Roofing & Exteriors and the level of professionalism they show on every project. The communication is clear, scheduling is smooth, and the quality of work speaks for itself. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable roofing and exterior work.”

Connie D.

“SPG replaced our roof and gutters. We worked with Hunter and Cameron. They were extremely easy to work with – friendly, professional, and patient. Hunter brought back the samples when we started to second guess ourselves. Their price was the best out of our three estimates. Hunter returned afterwards to make sure the area was properly cleaned and to see if we were happy. We highly recommend SPG Roofing.”

Hector M.

Their politeness and communication throughout the project were exceptional, and their advice on material choices was especially valuable and has significantly enhanced my home’s overall aesthetics. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to quality.”
