UltraPly TPO

TPO is a single-ply membrane, usually white, with heat-welded seams. The reflective surface absorbs less heat than a dark roof, which can lower cooling loads, and TPO stays flexible through Indiana's temperature swings. TPO is the system we quote most often on commercial flat roofs. See TPO roofing for more.

RubberGard EPDM

EPDM is a rubber membrane with a long track record on commercial roofs. It is usually black, its seams are joined with tape or adhesive, and it can be mechanically attached, adhered or ballasted. EPDM handles weathering well and works on roofs with many penetrations. See EPDM roofing for more.

Warranties

Manufacturer warranties on commercial roofs are issued by the manufacturer, not the contractor. The terms, length and eligibility depend on the system, the project and the installing contractor, and many require an inspection by the manufacturer after installation. Before you sign, ask any contractor which manufacturer warranty they can provide for your roof and get it in writing. We will tell you up front which warranty options are available for your project.
