What We Do

We at SPG Roofing & Exteriors deal in many siding products and lines, including vinyl, insulated vinyl, fiber cement, metal, and designer. Some lines that we offer include Certainteed, Royal Building, and James Hardie. Whether you’re looking for siding for your new home and looking to replace your current siding, we offer various quality siding options.

  • Certainteed provides several vinyl sidings options for your home. Monogram is one of their more premium vinyl options, offering .046 thickness upgraded from most other builder-grade vinyl products that are .040 in thickness. The selection is vast, and their colors are eye-catching. The product design allows for a 220 MPH wind rating. Monogram offers a few accessories that can be color-matched to the siding so you can have more control over your product selections.
  • Royal Building Products are vinyl with built-in insulation, which reduces exterior noise by up to 45%. The insulation can also add a thermal barrier to your home, keeping more heat and air condition inside. This vinyl product offers a modern look with modern colors, designs, and features. Crane board siding has a 7-inch exposure which is similar to fiber cement. This specific product is manufactured with recycled products, which is helpful to our green approach to the market.
  • James Hardie’s fiber cement siding allows for extreme customization if you’re looking for a fully customized design. They offer unique color options with their Prefinished Color Plus line along with many design options, including lap siding, board, batten, shake, and combinations with metal siding and fiber cement. This siding product offers customers a 15-year no-fade warranty and has become one of the most popular options for new homes.

Types of House Siding

Vinyl siding is long-lasting and affordable, which is why it’s one of the most popular choices for most homeowners. There’s a wide variety of styles and colors that can fit what you’re looking for. There is also insulated vinyl with solid rigid foam insulation as a backing, and the insulation adds resistance to damage and offers more protection to your home’s comfort.

Fiber cement siding comprises cement and cellulose fibers compressed and molded into different types of siding products. These products range from panels to battens to boards. Since fiber cement takes paint well, any paint job will last longer, making it more customized. Fiber cement siding is also rot and moisture resistant, non-combustible, pest resistant, and weather resistant, offering many beneficial qualities to this type of house siding.

Metal siding is a good option for homes because it offers a variety of steel siding panel profiles, longevity, and minimal maintenance. They can offer a modern or traditional look that can fit the aesthetic you’re looking for.

Choosing the Right Siding

It can be overwhelming when choosing between the many different house siding options. That is why SPG Roofing & Exteriors is here to help you every step of the way. We want you to be as informed as possible to be confident in your house siding decisions. There are a few basic issues to consider when selecting the right house siding option for your home.

Water resistance is a factor to consider. The more water-resident the siding is, the longer it will last. This also coincides with the durability of the siding, which should also be considered. You’ll want your siding to be able to resist the major temperature shifts of Indiana weather throughout the year.

Energy efficiency is another factor to consider when choosing the siding for your home. While our team can help you find the siding option that will be most energy-efficient for your home, it’s still good for you to know how to check it yourself. The R-value rating indicates the heat flow resistance of the siding, and the R-value will also determine what insulation you will need beneath the siding.

Another factor to take into consideration is the overall aesthetic. The siding of your house will be seen every time you step outside, so you’ll want to make sure the siding looks like how you want it to. Whether you want a certain color or look a certain way, make sure it looks beautiful to you and fits the aesthetic you want.

Our Services

If you don’t require new siding, it’s important to note that siding can sometimes not show wear and tear or damage, which is why home maintenance is important. We offer several house siding service options and will work with you to ensure your home’s needs are met.
